"The ‌iMac‌ Pro was the only Space Gray Mac"

I am confused. I am typing this on a Space Gray Macbook Air which they still sell with the new M1 processors. How is Space Gray dead ?

I guess they really are going to go all in on colors since they still have a Space Grey Mac mini, MacBook Pro & MacBook Air. Seems strange to discontinue matching colored accessories. But I do know it always seemed hard to get them, maybe they had a hard time making them and decided to just keep one color and then the new ones for the colored machines. Still makes zero sense with Space Grey machines still being sold actively. Unless this is a sign that they are ready to start getting rid of the Intel machines and the rumored M1 MBA colors are true...

No. Apple always has done space grey as a higher-end “pro” feature. Space grey isn’t going away. New magic keyboards have Touch ID so whenever space grey macs come they’ll get a Touch ID keyboard.
Unless they are changing the actual color of Space Grey, they does not explain discontinuing the mouse and track pad.

Best looking keyboard they’ve made. I assume they’ll be back when the 27” iMac comes out.
Satechi X3 Slim isn’t too shabby. I use mine for Windows HP (work), and iPad and iPhone (personal). Muscle memory has to adjust for left hand touch keyboard shortcuts on copy/paste but it’s good.

Such a shame Apple didn't give us a 24" iMac with at least one "dark" option. Hopefully this is discontinued because new versions are on the horizon.

I use a Space Gray magic keyboard and trackpad combo with my iMac and I think they both look amazing even though my computer is silver. They really should have made a SG version of the new iMac it’s the best color Apple makes as far as desktops go imo.

More than likely getting ready to change the Magic Keyboard/Mouse/Trackpad line-up once the full deck of Apple processor equipped Macs are out there.
Here's hoping they actually come up with a good mouse this time.

Why are so many of you guys upset over this? You realize that there are other options out there that are better than the Apple accessories, right? Like the Logitech MX Mouse/Keyboard are just superior over the Magic Mouse/Keyboard by most people's opinions.

Love my MX. Have had one (or another, and another one, and so on) for many years.

Could this mean a new mouse is incoming? (at some point, perhaps with the iMac large).

The Logitech may be better to you but it's still not uniformly designed to blend in with a Mac. It's just a standard keyboard and mouse for any brand of computer. For many they want Apple accessories since they're designed to match perfectly with Apple's computers.
