How are these people? Where are MKBHD and others?

I would be certain that MKBHD already has a review phone and that doing a half assed impressions invite in a controlled environment would only detract from what he would be able to do when the review embargo is lifted.

You would think EverythingApplePro would be there

I think you misspelled Marques Brownlee ;). He's by far the most watched smartphone reviewer on YouTube. Yes he's more of an Android guy but still reviews most if not all things Apple.

I just watched some of these videos, and the phone looks incredible. Friday can't come soon enough!

Expect nothing else from the masters of Marketing...

Apple is great at marketing but stop acting like marketing is the way they've become the most valuable company in the world. You can have the very best marketing in the world and that won't make you successful without also having truly great products.

Marketing might get someone to come into your stores, it might even sell a product. But it doesn't get people to keep that product, love that product, talk about that product with their friends, champion that product, and then buy your next product.

Stop this silly idea that Apple is successful only because of great marketing. It's a pretty stupid view of things.

I don’t trust these videos, as we know if you give Apple negative reviews they black list you from any events, this smells to me like they are attempting to control what You Tubers say about their devices now.

Think I’ll wait for reviews by those not being ‘invited’ by Apple to its events and no doubt treated very well..

You do realize that all the reviews that drop tomorrow will be given free handsets by Apple as well right?

yeah im going to dropped close to 1200 bucks so i could send out 3d emojis.........
A serious question: If I send the 3D emoji from iphoneX or Animoji from iphoneX, will it show up the right way on iphone8 and lower versions?

Great stuff. Keep in mind that short of the FaceID and OLED display the phone is identical to the 8 Plus.

Sorry “loaned” to be used for free for a set period of time to review.

Some big you tubers buy every colour and unbox them all then smash them up, or give them away. I know a few of the bigger channels that were on about saying up to order the iPhone X for review so I don’t even know if apple evens loans them out.

No, the portrait camera is also better (brighter and optically stabilized).

That‘s quite the understatement. His Pixel 2/2XL review was super cringeworthy. He sounded like a Google spokesperson in full-on damage control mode. In no way, shape or form would I take iPhone/iOS advice from him.

That's not correct. Let's not forget that the rear camera is better as well! Better aperture on one of the lenses and OIS on both.

First have you used a Pixel 2 if not you should probably use one before you apparently call it a horrible phone. Which is what you seem to implying for the damage control comment. Second he clearly brings up the blue screen issue, and less wide colour gamut, and the Boot loop other issues people have mentioned. He hasn't experienced the boot loop issue so he can't comment on that but he was pretty critical on the display not having the full colour gamut.

He's undoubtedly the most watched smartphone reviewer and should have received an early test model over the others who have. Maybe he did received one and just hasn't released a review yet but if not is Apple afraid of his review? He's interviewed Craig F so Apple must think enough of his credentials.
