First impressions on my Pro 2s: bass seems to be improved and ANC/Transparency sounds the same to me.

Haven't noticed any other changes yet, but my case still hasn't updated for some reason

Really hope the new case firmware fixes the battery drain.

I've only had the one update over the factory version so far, still reading feedbacks before jumping on this one.

I haven't had any issues other than my case chirps away like a blackbird on heat whenever it's touched or moved, even inside a bag. I also hear blackbirds in the garden most days so this is fine 🐥

Easiest way to upgrade:

Connect the AirPods via Thunderbolt to a running Mac, it took 2 minutes.

Got plenty of Macs and IOS devices for them to sync to but it hasn't updated to 5B59 let alone the new one.

The Pro 2s never got 5B59 though.

My AirPods 3 have self updated. First impression - they seem to sound crispier (with more treble and less base) and have a better separation between vocals and instruments. Happy ears here! 😉👍

I attached it to a lightning cable which was plugged into a sleeping iMac.

I did listen to music for about 10mins while the case was still plugged in so it might have updated during that time.

My case updated first than the AirPods, even when apple pulled the AirPods update. I don’t understand why
