Apple today released watchOS 7.5, the fifth major update to the watchOS 7 operating system that was released in September 2020. watchOS 7.5 comes one month after the release of watchOS 7.4, an update that added Apple Watch iPhone unlocking and other features.

‌‌The watchOS 7.5 update‌‌ can be downloaded for free through the dedicated Apple Watch app on the iPhone by going to General > Software Update. To install the new software, the Apple Watch needs to have at least 50 percent battery, it needs to be placed on a charger, and it needs to be in range of the ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌iPhone‌‌‌‌‌‌‌.

watchOS 7.5 introduces support for Apple Card Family and subscription content in the Podcasts app. In Malaysia and Peru, it enables the ECG app and irregular heart rate rhythm notifications.

The update also includes support for the new Pride faces that are designed to accompany the 2021 Pride bands that Apple released today. There are two new "Pride Woven" faces to choose from in an animated rectangle or circle design.

Hopefully it fixes the crashes on 7.4.
Never once had aWatch crash on me before, then had one a week at random times since 7.4...

OH MY GOD! I am currently updating my Series 3 while only having 2,2GB free (and of course, no apps installed whatsoever)

I got the 'unable to install due to lack of space' error while my iPhone was updating (and my watch was only connected to Wifi). Afterwards i just left it on my wrist, checked the AW app, pressed the update button and.... it just worked!

Mind blown!

Of all the updates, I feel like the watch is the worst one. I wish they would just update the watch while you are wearing it. It kind of interrupts the flow of my day, especially wish how long the updates are. Yes, I'm complaining about a relatively minor issue, but I do wish there was a better way to update the watch, especially if you are anxious about missing a stand hour (Which regrettably I am and it's stupid).

They need to fix the sleep tracking. It’s woeful. Incorrect timings in bed , resting heart rate calculated when i’m asleep and some times not. It’s all over the place.

Use Pillow. Way more precise and fun then the built in sleep tracker 😅

It’s quite something that they can’t even get the resting heart rate right ie when not at random times and asleep and considering it’s a health tracker!

Do you need to buy the new watch band to get the QR code for pride woven watch face? I just upgraded the OS and don’t see any new pride faces. Thanks!
