My big issue with Airpods is the anxiety I get when I misplace them. I went on a weekend trip and accidentally left them in my car. I had the box on the passenger's seat and they somehow ended up just under the seat. Had to untangle the earpods and I felt like I was going back to the 90s during the weekend. I thought I had lost them because the find my airpod function showed last pairing at another location. Amazing product. Easily my favorite headphones and a bargain compared to the competition.

Interesting survey. They carefully ask about all the good aspects of the AirPods without seeming to ask about clumsy interactions and general Siri frustrations. The double-tap to get Siri is very fiddly and I usually have to tap repeatedly to get her. Since that means I'm tapping away on my own eardrums, I've pretty much stopped trying. If I need Siri, I hold the button on my iPhone. Taking a call is annoying because it's finicky trying to hang up. Generally I hope the other called simply hangs up first. Lots of small annoyances. At least half the time I just use the white wires instead.

Do they even exists ? I have not yet seen any in Tokyo and I take the train every day. I would expect to see at least some.

Whenever I want to buy they still say six weeks ? Really ? Got me some beat x instead; just picked from shelf in the color I want; pay and leave.

I've seen them half a dozen or so times in Sydney. So they do exist but seem to be rare. Beats is the most common brand I see.

What is it with these delays? That's a longer delay than the iPhone at launch!

Or we will looking back wondering how stupid we were not realize we were giving ourselves brain tumors blasting EMFs into our brains from inside our ears. Do some research.

I will call it a success when my problems become so small that I'm actually concerned about radio waves and caramel food coloring.

It absolutely amazes me that people worry about tiny or non-existent risks like this while using their phones (hands-free or not) while driving.

Heck, you are far more likely to die while driving your car than any of these idiotic imagined risks.

And, yes, I've done the research.

Absolutely I think Apple will expand with the black Airpods at one point. Can you imagine what those will sell like compared to the white ones that are currently available ?
but Apple has never sold coloured earpods cuz white is their signiture colour. I think airpods will be the same. Black airpods made by 3rd party companies looked awesome tho.

So it's Apple stock headphones without wires? They sound mediocre at best so I don't know if the wireless version would be worth it. I'm a mild audiophile and I only use my EarPods to watch movies and tv shows. I'll switch to my expensive over the headphones for music.
Absolutely not. I'm a music producer who listens to music on high end studio monitors and my main cans are B&O H6. I can and do listen to music all day with my AirPods without my ears getting tired, and I am completely satisfied with the music quality - something that simply isn't true with the EarPods.

These are great sounding buds with well balanced sound for the size and portability. The fact that they are truly wireless and you are almost guaranteed to never have them run out of battery is a shocking bonus.

I'm not surprised, they are fantastic easily the best earphones I have ever owned. Charging is so simple and quick and connecting them is very simple, I've had no issues with mine. What I also love is being able to connect them to my Mac and iPad within seconds. Great job Apple :)

hey, when you spend 150 dollars on this. You are either an massive apple fan (which will say rate it 10/10 even if it punches them in the balls) or trying really hard to justify 150 dollars spent on it.

I disagree. You can't really compare the EarPods to the AirPods. The AirPods are Apple's future with Bluetooth and the W1 Chip. I could easily see Apple expanding to a black variant by version two of the AirPods.

Also, Colorware, highly reputable company already has introduced new colors to the AirPods if one is willing to pay a high dollar.

Or you are spending money on a completely wireless pair of earphones that work great and dont tether you to your device constantly. They are well worth the money spent particularly if like me you use them daily.

Convenience of the battery case is awesome but the sound quality sucks and they don't fit my ears well, plus they make me feel like a d-bag Apple sheep so I returned them.

Back to jaybird x2 that sounds way better and are more comfortable. Waiting for jaybird to come out with true wireless headphones.

They look much better in colours!

Dont like white in electronics. The keyboard in particular gets very grubby.

Back ordered for 6 months instead of 6 weeks?

That sounds about right. But then again, I think most know the success of the AirPods even after the undue delay. I think this is a bright light for Apples future with The Airpods.

What I really like about the AirPods they have a vast array of possibilities to improve these In terms of software and various enhancements to make them even better.

But I would like to see most improved would be some way of adjusting the volume without using your phone or Siri. Perhaps a way of sliding your finger up and down the AirPod to control the volume, similar to capacitive touch.

I use B&W wired headphones for serious listening. I bought a pair or the AirPods last week, and while they do not sound perfect as my B&W cans, they do sound damn good for Bluetooth earphones. I use them at the gym, they hold up well with sweat and stay in my ear. Because it's easier to put in the ear and put away in the case, I think this will become my primary earphones for when I'm on the move.

I agree about Airpods being a bright future for Apple. They have come up with what is for many a must have accessory. This was one of the few ways Apple could manage to squeeze more profits out of a high percentage of iPhone sales with out raising the price. Timmy, do you hear me? Well done ignore the haters.

I would love to know how much money they have made out of these things to date.

Going anecdotally off my own experience these results were not a surprise to me. The Airpods are one of the greatest products Apple has ever made. Simply enjoyable to use and they work awesome. Love mine.

Well I would love to try them but the 6 week waitlist is just too much.

Hahaha! Amazing this is here today. Over the weekend my girlfriend told me someone at her office came in with really strange headphones. I right away asked... Were they white with a little (but still big) sticks? And wireless. She said Yes.

I told her, it was the new airpods... Her only reply was "they stupid looking" I didnt even get to tell her the price. Why beat a dead horse

Sure they all said 10... They just over compensating.

If you're so unsarisfied with Apple products maybe you could find a different forum and leave us in peace.
