FU UPS. Supervisor said he'll address it to the driver and call me in the morning. scary thing is my wife's 38mm AW is set to be delivered Wednesday by UPS also. I hope I'm here when he delivers. I also have that they always deliver LATE. it was 7:30 when they said they "delivered". I've gotten one at 9pm once from UPS. FedEx, I'll have it in my hand by 2pm, never later than that. another reason I HATE UPS and never use their service.
I've experienced a similar occurrence with UPS deliveries within the last 6 months as well. I've had 4 different packages delivered to my next door neighbor, who gets a fairly large amount of deliveries on a regular basis. I thought it was pretty strange, since I have Amazon Prime and get my fair share of deliveries, and am at least a little familiar with one of the regular drivers. My theory, based off of other forums discussing this issue, is that UPS puts burdens on their drivers to get their deliveries done faster than they're capable of, so to circumvent this, they deliver packages to neighbors who they assume will then "finish" the delivery. If it happens again, I do plan on contacting UPS, but I'm afraid if the cause is as I assume, it will negatively impact my UPS drivers, who in this case are simply being pressed too hard.dumb sh*t UPS driver delivered my watch to the street behind us. we were out and got my email it was delivered. checked my doorbell camera and was never alerted anyone came by. got home and there was nothing at my door, I was PISSED! called UPS and of course they're no help. texted my friend my tracking number since he works for UPS and said he'll check it, he had just gotten back to the hub and was talking with his supervisor when my neighbor from the street behind us came over with the box. I don't think hardly anyone thought the high price of such an Apple product, Stainless Steel version would come crashing in value so hard and so soon.
Painful really as, unlike a "real watch" in not that many more years time it's only fit for the garbage bin.
Scary how this has happened.
I remember many saying Apple will offer upgrade services to upgrade your watches.
That didn't happen!
Seems Apple wants to ship AW to customers instead of having them picked up in the stores. Wonder why?? It took AW0 a very long while before they were available in the stores. Manufacturing issues with With Best Buy having so many AW0 to sell it hints that Apple didn't sell as many as planned.I

It was a bit shocking to me as I had to quickly lower my price to sell my AW0. Knowing what people can buy at BB in a new sealed box, I guess I did okay, although mine was a 42 and all the "steals" on BB are for the 38.I don't think hardly anyone thought the high price of such an Apple product, Stainless Steel version would come crashing in value so hard and so soon.

I want to exchange my SG Series 1 sport i paid $299 for. And put up another $50 for a 42mm SS first gen with the blue leather loop. I would keep my white silicone band i bought for my SG and use that for the gym and casual use. I also probably would sell the leather loop on ebay and end up paying LESS for what i paid for my Series 1 for the SS.
I let my fiance talk me into the series one, because she thought i would regret not getting the faster one. But from the tests i seen its not a night and day difference. And i only use the watch for notifications and stuff like that.
That makes sense right? I am in the gym 5 days a week so i thought the sport would be better. I do like how the SG is stealthy for the gym, don't want to stand out with some bling. But i could just use my white apple silicone band i bought. I would look to get a nice leather distressed band for out on the town occasions to match with the SS.
BUT... My one worry, if i go today and exchange i feel the watch might be "back ordered" a day later after i order it lol. Putting me back to square one and without my watch for a few days, which isn't a huge deal. But i have really enjoyed it using it in the gym controlling my music so i can leave my phone in my gym bag. In any event it is showing free 2 day shipping and i will get it on the 29th if i ordered today.
I have a gen 0 running Watch OS3 and the performance increase has been significant. For me the new one is not enough of an improvement to justify the cost and the sapphire screen is worth it alone to go with the gen 0.
I think so to. I'm going to head there now and exchange it and order the SS gen 0 so I get it by Friday via 2 day shipping. What do you think a un used leather loop goes for on eBay? I would prefer to sell and possibly get my my own distressed leather. I assume at least $60?
I already have a white silicone band to go with it in the mean time & I am in the gym 5 days a week. I'm wondering if the blue or the white leather loop is a more popular seller.
anyone who purchased applecare+ w/ your AW through best buy, did you get a certificate confirmation email from apple or best buy? i got my watch last night but never got any email regarding my applecare+. i checked on apple's website and shows it's not active though my order through best buy shows AC+ as "active".

With the waterproof seal I don't think it will ever work out economically for Apple to let us pay for an "under the hood" upgrade. When I had the AW0 I thought maybe Apple would offer that option to at least the Edition watches, but I think it's clear now that "under the hood" upgrades won't ever happen.
Or just have them hold it at the hub...I

Series 0 first genFor clarity, and please put it more prominently if there really is a difference between 0 day launch and Watch OS2 (guessing here).. what are you talking about when you mention Series 0?
