No, the exterior back side is actually smooth. I did see that "diamond" armor version on Amazon as well, but definitely different.

Is caudabe sheath safe from drop? Tempting to get as for thier thickness.

Anyway, anyone got recommendation for slim ( not bulky ) but drop safe?

You can read my post if you haven’t already regarding dropping the Sheath. Caudabe mentions it’s tested to 6.6ft.

Got my Sheath "Classic" today as well...Really like it. Pretty much identical to the original Sheath except for the back design...which I like much better. If you already own the original Sheath, buying the "classic" version will just get you the redesigned back...but everything else is the same...Partnered with the iCarez 3D screen protector...

Two questions:

1. In case of fall, I assume the case ahs an outer lip so the screen does not get touched?
2. What screen protector, if any, are you using with this case?

1. This case have a very generous lip, which is about 2mm higher than my screen protector

2. I am using an Arbalest Full Coverage glass screen protector

Yes, that's the one. It's good enough for me. I used to have an iCarez protector, which was more resistant to fingerprints, but the black border encroached on the visible part of the screen and caused a weird depth effect.

This case is very grippy indeed, due to the TPU used and the grip texture along the sides. I do not find the edges to be sharp at all.
