With an all glass iPhone X, I went with Elementcase’s Formula X and Roll Cage for hiking days.

https://www.elementcase.com/shop-by-device/iphone-x-cases.html

I’ve used Elementcase since iPhone 4, but did use an Apple leather case for iPhone 7+, but I see the leather case as being too light duty for the all glass iPhone X.

The Formula case works with wireless charging. I am using the Samsung wireless charging base that came with my son’s Galaxy 6 (or was it 8?).

Do you use a glass screen protector with that catalyst case? Is it compatible with edge to edge glass screen protectors?

I originally purchased the Ringke Fusion case. The case is nice and slim with good protection.

Today, I received the Spigen Ultra Hybrid in silver. This case is a little bulkier and wider compared to the Ringke but I prefer the added width as the X felt very narrow. This case is a polycarbonate with TPU sides with an additional PC trim for added protection.

Just got the Caudabe Sheath in Navy today. It's a nice, understated case which feels solid and secure in the hand. Cutouts for lightning port, speakers and mute switch are precise. Covers for the power and volume buttons are firm and tactile.

The case is a good thickness - not bulky and not too thin with absolutely no flex when installed. The area around the lightning port is reinforced with a little extra thickness. The texture is a very fine matte, grain material which makes it comfortable to grip but doesn't affect the ability to slide in/out of pockets. The carbon fibre accent beside the camera is glossy and smooth and offers a nice pop of style on an otherwise plain case. Branding on the side and at the bottom of the rear is small and discrete.

There is a raised lip around the front to protect the screen. This does not impede performing gestures, but does feel a little bit sharp when moving a finger across as there is a seam here. There was a slight touch of wear along the top edge straight out of the box, so I suspect this may be the first part to suffer from wear and tear.

The camera is protected with a fractionally higher lip than elsewhere - this is so minimal it won't result in rocking when laid flat but still means the lens will not come into contact with the surface.

Some of my close-up pics looks purple, but I can assure you the blue on the full case shots are truer to colour. In low light, it actually looks black! :D I've also got a red one on the way which should arrive next week.

This is my second Caudabe case (first being a Lucid Clear) and I'm very happy with it. I think I'll be going back for a Synthesis soon! :D

Thanks for the review! I’m really thinking of picking one of these up. That 6.6 ft seems too good to be true. How hard/easy is it to take the case on and off? I love to go naked a lot of the time.

Edit: 20% off this weekend.

So I've used a few different cases the last week and found that the Apple leather case is the best.

Spigen Ultra Hybrid clear – Shows off the phone nicely but it feels so sticky and gummy. There're also slits at the bottom back of the phone, which I suspect allowed dust to get trapped and scratch the glass back. There're also slits/gaps around the side button/volume buttons.

Spigen Neo Hybrid – Feels solid, and no sticky feeling at all. Very protective case and I would not worry at all if I ever dropped the phone. But the camera cut out is way too big and any dust or dirt can easily get wedged and damage the camera

Apple leather case – Slimmest profile of the three that I used. Perfect camera cut out with no gaps whatsoever. Feels premium in hand and the metal buttons make them easy to click.

What’s the difference between the Ringke fusion and the Ringke air? Any idea?

Temporary bought me a Apple Case(haptic destroyer), till my lovely Joli arrives.
https://jolioriginals.com for naked usage! :)

This is a sleeve, which is pretty pointless. So you're going to take it in and out of the sleeve every time you use your phone? You would be hoping that when you drop the phone it's in the sleeve, and not one of the numerous times you have it out.

And the sleeve totally covers up the phone. You can't even check the time.

But enjoy your nice pieces of leather.

Are the Apple silicon cases dust magnets? The case I’m using now gets dust stuck between the case and glass on front.

They’re dust magnets for themselves. They’re actually very good at keeping dust out of the case. But I find the top side always has to be wiped down due to the dust.

That sucks. I guess all silicon cases are like that.

What is the advantage of this case VS otterbox/lifeproof/uag?

Does the caudabe veil Xt have a lip on the bottom? I like being able to swipe up and not hit the case.

Yes, there’s a screen protector on it, which is always a party pooper to the seamless effect.

But it’s thin enough that I barely notice it when swiping home. Not intrusive at all.

Looking at the two cases below; they seem similar, bout the same price, wondering if anyone has pics. The tozo looks like a blueish/purplish color, not sure it's just the photo. Do they both protect front and camera when laying flat?
