Could someone please answer the following:

1.Can the current versions lip be felt when swiping off the edge of the screen? I have the Veil XT and it has no lip so its like swiping without a case on it.

2. Does anyone have a picture of this case on a Space Gray model that they could post on here?
1. Yes

Got mine today. Feels great in the hand, pretty much like holding a naked iPhone X. I own the leather case and that is way more slippery.

Putting it on was easy, was easier than my old Power Support.

Mine seems a little loose but plan on leaving it on until someone explains to me how they get theirs scratched.

The logo on the side is hideous though. I hate that garbage, you have my money, don’t advertise.

one thing im noticing a lot about the caudable lucid clear is just how crazy slick it is. It just doesn't feel nice to hold. Its a lot more slippery than the naked phone. a little disappointing

I have two of these cases sent to me and both are creaky messes. I have been told by Caudabe that slight size differences between the Silver SS and Space Black iPhone X’s caused problem with the first round of production cases. I am going on my third when I get the next one. Going the next one does the trick.
I have same issue, after a day or so, the case is too big and loose. I have contacted them now.

Based on all the recommendations here, I went in for the Lucid Clear. Phone has been in the case for a day so far and the case looks great. It fits like a T and no scratches yet (silver X)

Tempted to get this case but got really worried after seeing reports about particles of dust/grains getting under another case from Caudabe, rubbing against the back of the phone, and leaving scratch marks over time. My previous cases had microfiber lining and I never had this issue. Did anyone have this problem and is this something I should be worried about with Lucid Clear?

from the pictures it looks kinda plasticity and not very elegant.
especially the camera opening..

Honestly, it’s kinda plasticy and not elegant.

But, it’s probably the best looking clear case I’ve seen. The usual TPU cases are much thicker and the edges mask the edges of the phone (I guess because it’s edge on, the TPU is less transparent?

Best looking clear case in my opinion. Caudabe is also known for quality and customer support. But...it's a bit slippery in the hand. I'm trying to get used to it.

The case can have small manufacturing imperfections on the edges (you can easily feel these with the nail). Since it's made of a hard material, that means your stainless steel band will end up scratched (it's happened to a number of people, me included).

I know that hairline scratches on stainless steel are pretty much unavoidable with time but this case is really not helping at all. Also, some of these are not hairline scratches. I have tried the usual TPU case and, despite it's rubber-like feel, these at least are not hard enough to scratch it.

At this point I'm considering to either rock it naked (on the back) or get a back skin but leave the band exposed. My preference would be a piece of tempered glass for the back of the phone but I haven't really found any decent options.

I’m still using mine with a glass screen protector and it’s still lovely as all get out. That Woman Who Rules My Life and two of my buddies also have one as well. No complaints. Fits great. Have you folks with problems reached out to their customer service yet? They’re excellent.

I agree that it feels plasticky because that’s sort of what it is. Lol, but the look is so amazing and it’s so thin that I don’t care. People literally have asked me why I don’t use a case because they don’t see the case on the phone!

No offense, but that sounds like a horrible idea. There is no way I’m going caseless with this phone.

Although, anecdotally, my buddy’s girlfriend dropped her caseless phone from about 4 feet on to a tile floor. We were all standing in a circle and all collectively gasped. Turns out the phone was perfectly fine. Still wouldn’t go caseless though, she just got lucky.

So basically what this thread proves is that if you’re OCD about your phone, don’t get this case. You can literally see every speck of dust through the case. It’s as clear as day.

But if you use your phone as a phone is meant to be used, it’s an unbelievable case. (sorry, I know that’s going to offend some people) I’m still rocking mine and couldn’t think of a better case for my needs. It fits like a glove, it’s really thin and looks stupidly good. It really is the next best thing to going naked. Just my opinion.

Got my case and I'm not a fan. It creeks when I push in on the sides. I feel it doesn't fit right. I'm using a Space Grey in case color makes a difference. Also there's pretty much no lip on it at all. Not sure why the description and box says there is. Not sure what to do, I don't really want a replacement.

ya probably, but not worth shipping back for me and also i asked them to replace it with the silver chrome model.

I have the Veil XT and although it may offer a bit less protection, I love it. It feels great and is incredibly slim.

Got this case yesterday - agree with others who have said it's too slippery. I actually like the cheap TPU cases better - looks about the same, and way more grip.

I also ordered a Veil XT and will switch to it tonight. I've used one on the 6, 6S, 7 and loved it. I should have just stuck with the Veil to begin with.

The Lucid is ok but every time I grip it to press the power button (or whatever it's called now) with my thumb the case shifts. It's loose 100%.
