Change Shipping Address

Im thinking about calling but not any time soon.
I can't put up with 2-3 hour holds.
My iphone wont ship for another 4 weeks so I hope by that time their call volume will drop and I'd be able to speak to someone within shorter time.

Hey man just checked on mine and it changed! I didn't get an email confirmation i just randomly checked. Good luck!
 
I did finally get through, and the guy I spoke with said I should see the change in 24 hours. I was on hold for just over three and a half hours. Glad that's over!
 
Just called and am currently on hold. Let the waiting begin.

At least the music is decent

THIS! THIS! It worked for me! Don't go to iPhone sales, they're swamped right now. Go to something like MacBook sales and explain your situation and ask to be transferred to customer service so they can help you out. I was talking to a sales rep in under 20 minutes, and after another 20 minutes or so on hold waiting for a customer service rep I got one who was able to change the address for me! It took 43 minutes total. I had been on hold for 3 and a half hours going straight for customer service and was still on hold through my phone call I made to sales on my girlfriend's phone.

Thanks! Asked for Macbook Sales and got a rep within 3.5 minutes. Now being transferred to Customer Service
 
Just called and the rep said they are NOT changing shipping addresses. WTF? Hopefully I can redirect it once it's shipped. Otherwise it's going to CA and my mother will have to resend it to me in PA. Irritating.

Cheers man! I just checked mine too and it changed! I guess back end changes doesn't reilt in an email cofirmation! Thank goodness this is over for now
 
Was able to get mine changed as well with no problem. Was on hold for about 35 min and the agent had it changed within a couple minutes.
 
Just changed mine now by "accidentally" calling for Mac sales. The lady directed my call and I spoke to a rep who changed the address for me no questions asked. Was done in 25 mins! Thanks to whoever it was who said call the MacBook sales!
 
Well, I figured why not give it a shot. Existing ATT plan here. After 4 hours on hold (thank God for speaker phone), Austin took my call and promptly acknowledged that ATT policy is to have the shipment sent to the ATT billing address. He then asked me if this was a new ATT plan or existing and I advised him it was existing. He then said that as a one time courtesy he would would make the change. I then updated him and he updated my order. New confirmation email received. So, if you have time to have the phone sit on hold, might very well be worth the time to try. Hell, makes me laugh actually. I ended up dozing off and caught a 2 and a half hour nap while I was "waiting". Good thing they didn't picked up while I was resting.
 
could i change back my address on at&t apple and bank account to home address? i've got it to say its going to ship to work address so i can receive it there instead.

2 hours on hold last night. 1.5 hours on hold this morning. Half an hour of talking to the rep. Shipping address finally changed. Come to me iPhone 6!!
 
I was on hold for about 45 min this morning, 8am-845am EST, and she said she changed it and i requested an email confirmation but she said the email might not go through because of the heavy use on the system. Then she mentioned that it'll take up to 24 hours for the computer to show the new address and it hasn't updated yet... I'm nervous
 
Changed ATT shipping address via 1-(800) MYAPPLE

I got thru this morning to Apple, after 1hr 44min on hold, not too bad considering the results. The Apple Rep was amazing! I said, "could I change my shipping address" she replied, "Absolutely!" I asked if a change would delay shipping, ect...her reply, "of course not". She was so helpful, friendly, happy and really knew what she was doing. It took about 3-4 minutes to change and re-route two different orders. As soon as I got off the phone, I received a confirmation e:mail from Apple showing the address delivery change. I logged in to my Apple account and the address delivery change was already updated there as well. Very impressed with the service I received, albeit, with millions of phone calls, the hold times are long, but the results were worth it.

Thank you for this information!! With this method, you can get to customer support in under 30min.

I was finally able to get the address changed.
 
Called yesterday and finally got through to CS to change the shipping address on my wife's and my separate orders.

Within 5 minutes of hanging up my wife had a confirmation email documenting the new address for her order. Here I am about 20 hours later and my order still shows the original address and no email.

I tried calling this morning but got disconnected after 45 minutes. So then I tried Apple support chat and actually got through but the CS wasn't too helpful...nice but not helpful. Said it's a known issue on their end and that I should just be patient and see if the change goes through and hope for the best. Not exactly what I wanted to hear. I have to say the customer service I have experienced doesn't inspire any confidence. Furthermore it's strange to see such wildly varying experiences with this same issue.

I'm currently on hold again to see if I can talk to someone on the phone today about it.

I still haven't got an email or had the change reflected on the order since my phone call last night. Please let us know what happens.
 
I spoke with an Apple Rep yesterday afternoon. He said that they do not have the ability to change the address after the order has been submitted. However, if I go into my AT&T account and change the billing address, it will update Apples shipping address within a 24 hour period. I tried that yesterday and waited overnight for my address to update, but it didn't.

I called again this morning and was told that Apple CAN make the change - he submitted the request to another department (it sounded like operations management, but im note sure) and the request would be processed within 24 hours.

Its been 9 hours without any changes or emails yet - If I dont hear anything by tomorrow AM again I'll be calling again until someone can change it on the spot for me.

I really hope this doesnt delay the 9/19 delivery!

I did that when I had my sleep/wake button replaced by apple and it was being mailed to my home but I wouldn't get home until late.

That will usually only work after first delivery attempt.

That works, but 99 out of 100 times it adds 1 day to delivery time which would mean you'd have to wait until Monday to get it. Also, depending on the SHIPPERS INSTRUCTIONS which are usually coded into the tracking numbers delivery changes (until after the first delivery attempt is made) might not be allowed. (I run a UPS Store).
