It's the same renders/mockup's you consistently Post on here. A White border may not be a possibility with the iPhone 8, but it's not entirely off putting for everyone. Some have no issue with a white bezel and or the contrast. As someone else alluded to, white is not your preference, but you don't speak for the majority either.

Obviously subjective and relative, but... no, IMHO, that is not a "small phone" !

My Sony Ericsson T68i was a small phone. My iPhone 4 was pretty big by comparison. The iPhone '8' and Plus models are humungous phones.

More on topic, I am just 'not feeling' this phone design. I actually like the glass back look, but I honestly feel like it's going to look a bit less nice than the 7, which was a bit less nice than the 6/6S, which was a lot less nice than the 5S/SE.

I think the 4/4S/5/5S/SE are the nicest looking iPhones by quite a way. More sensible sizes too, for me.

I am overly bothered with the vertical camera design, I think it looks extremely ugly, other than that I like what I see, I think it is a step towards the right direction.

I totally agree! Ugh. I might have to get the black one and just put it in a pretty case because I really don't like the black phones. It just looks SO.BAD.with all that black and a tiny bit of white.

Mirroring a lot of other comments on here but the white notch is kind of ugly. The black notch looks fine. Hopefully Apple will at least color the notch black on all production models regardless of the back color, and honestly since the screen takes up the vast majority of the front I think going with black bezels on all models makes the most sense, but then I'm not an Apple designer...

If anything, that's been the one constant since rumors started... Reduced bezels equal larger screen in smaller package. This video is not the first time this has come up and it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone who's been following this.

Personally, I'm looking forward to a smaller overall form factor with more screen real estate. This should be easier on the pocket and in-hand.

The contrasting bezel and notch color is what separates an iPhone from a generic smartphone.

The iPhone 4 with white glass already set the stage for what Apple feels is their iconic design. Look at any illustration of an iPhone and the contrasting bezels and home button are what stand out. If Apple was going to hide the bezels, they would have done that with the iPhone 4, 5, 6, or 7.

This glass sandwich OLED iPhone won't stray away from tried and true Apple language.

Hmm this will be the only phone with no bezels, so still a smallish device, with stereo speakers and dual cameras If the mock ups are true.. but it's definitely a try before you buy if they ditch Touch ID and charge over 1100 for it.

What's with that stupid cut out above display? why is that there? is this a joke?
And that camera lens is probably the worst thing I ever seen on any electronic device.
I think I will be holding to my iPhone 7 Plus.
frankly if it wasn't for iOS preference.I would have switched to Galaxy S8.
Just compare that device to this (from design perspective).this thing is laughable.

All I can say is that I really hope that these are not the final designs / finishes otherwise it will not be upgrade time for me. The white is awful - I can't think of a better word to describe it, and the current white phones are a lot more attractive.

I actually feel sorry for Apple. Too many people want / expect new designs each year which doesn't really benefit the phone]. My preference would be just keep the same minimal design language and tweak it [like the macbookpros].

I will as usual reserve my final opinion until Apple release the phone, as I have confidence in them not to deliver something like these mockups, although I have been proven wrong on several occasions and they have made moves I never expected. Hopefully, this is not one of those times.........

Have Mercy......It's too ugly for my eyes...I will wait for Apple to give the real version..sure they will smooth out the kinks in that design!!!
 
I like the design, and having a device with a display size similar to the Plus models in a smaller overall package will be greatly welcomed.

However, there are bug is iOS that have lingered since iOS 7, for me mostly related to manually syncing items with iTunes, but there are lots of other smaller bugs that just won't go away.

If I didn't care about manually managing a large library of music and playlists, and didn't rely so heavily on ratings/play counts and my personally-edited metadata of the media, I probably wouldn't care or notice. Lots of casual users buy stuff on iTunes, it takes no space on their device because they can stream it, they don't make playlists or sync multiple devices... I'm sure things work great. But so far, while tolerable, there's been a lot of issues with getting the old-school manual-management of items to play nice with iCloud.
 
That white front looks horrible. All models, regardless of color, better come with a black front. The white looks soooo tacky.

I kind of want the earlier rumours if it just being in black to be true. It doesn't need to be made in other colors. Especially if the constraints are that only a couple of million will be available. Why segment the market into different colors. Heck I don't even think there should be different storage sizes. There ends up being way too many SKUs with sizes colors and carriers.
