Got a Gold 64GB 6 through the app. I'm in Canada.

It already states that it's going to ship between the 9/19 - 19/23.

I mean, that's fine, I'm not going to get all first-world-problem-y about 4 days, I'm just surprised. I haven't seen it work for very many people.

Just to clarify, they are shipping on the 18th. The date you quote is the delivery date. Depending from where they ship, they will get to you in that timeframe. The normal delivery for a package is three days to the opposite of the country.

I'm hoping they ship out the GTA so I have delivery on the 19th.

I'm tired and sleepy but it paid off, just received my att email confirmation this morning ready " Preparing for shipping" status and was able to credit me $40.00 for upgrade fee. My iphone should arrive at my office between 09-17 to 09-19.

Turns out, we got screwed. Verizon finally mailed an order confirmation, and it says we'll get our phones in mid October.

Once again, this whole process went as poorly as the live stream of the announcement did. It's been, what, 7 years now and Apple still can't get this stuff right. It's beyond infuriating.

Haha you do realize there's millions of people trying just like you to get one right?

Maybe you should stop thinking.

I have two ipads, 4 and Air, and ordered both 128 gig iphones, 6 and 6+, just for me.

6+ daily driver during work hours an 6 for weekends.

Why do you need that many devices? I don't see the point? With unlimited money, I'd still only want just an iPhone, iPad and MBP (ok, as well as 2 Apple TV's and an Mac Mini, but those are not handheld devices).

Woke up at 1:55 a.m., futzed around with Apple's site at 2 a.m. for maybe 5 minutes, then moseyed over to AT&T's site around 2:05 and ordered a 64Gb iPhone 6. Took maybe 15 minutes total.

Order status still shows 'pending' but 2 years ago it took AGES (or maybe a day or two LOL) to get confirmation, and I still got it the following Friday.

Alright cool... I got the order confirmations for both my wife and I from AT&T. September 19th delivery. I think I might take the day off that day!

2. The order confirmation noted that I will lose my grandfathered "unlimited" data plan in exchange for a selected mobile share plan. I've been considering the change since I avg. about 1-2 GB of data/mo., but would have preferred to retain the "unlimited" option for now.

You must have gone through and chosen a different plan option... perhaps you clicked on the AT&T Next offer that I seemed to be offered 2-3x throughout my checkout process?

On my confirmation email it clearly shows "Data Unlimited for iPhone on 4G LTE" as my monthly plan choice. Since this is just a preorder (and thus you haven't been charged/the new contract is not active yet), it may be wise to call AT&T up and tell them you want to maintain your order, however you want to remove any data plan changes to keep your unlimited data plan.

(I went through the AT&T store 4x last night to upgrade 4 lines, 3 of which were (and will continue) being unlimited data plans. All of these show confirmation emails keeping the unlimited data plan, so it definitely is not a fluke)

That happened to me with the 4S and they said one was cancelled and i ended up getting both phones anyway. they couldnt take it back because the order said it was cancelled and there was no way to actually return it. They told me since my order was never processed, it was like it didnt exist. I got to keep the phone.

If you don't mind me asking who canceled it and when was it canceled? Right now I don't want to cancel any of my orders because I don't have any confirmation of when things are coming (AT&T) or my order showing up on a website (Apple). I have confirmation emails from both AT&T and Apple.

AT&T Rep. apparently couldn't do anything and told me to canceled the one I didn't want but said orders were filled on availability so why would I cancel and lessen my chances of getting one..?

Has anyone who received a confirmation number from Apple received the second email that allows you to register when the carrier systems are back online? I have Verizon. Thanks!

Unless Apple / T-mobile has changed how this works since last year, when purchasing a T-mobile iPhone 5S from Apple last year, full retail price, it did not come unlocked, it was locked to T-mobile.

Unless Apple has changed the deal since last year, you are not entirely correct. Buying a T-Mobile phone from *Apple* directly for full price results in you receiving an unlocked phone.

Source: Me last year with a T-Mobile launch day 5s that was definitely unlocked, as I put an AT&T SIM card in it when I opened the box. Never had to call anybody or do anything, it just worked. ;)

Sorry, went to bed after getting two.

US Apple Store App (Site was still down)
Got my wifes 6+ 128gb in Gold first around 15-20min after 12:00AM PDT
Got my 6+ 128gb Space Grey right at 12:50AM PDT through the app. The store site never came up.
It showed it was unable to connect to carriers and I would be getting a email within 24 hours to confirm somehow, got the reserved emails around 2:20AM but nothing else yet.

(ATT.com somehow said I wasn't eligible even though I was eligible a few hours earlier, prior to getting my Space Grey one)

How did you get the credit?

I gave up trying to order mine around 3 a.m. CST since I had to be up for work at 6. Logged in when I woke and managed to get a 16GB silver 4.7" model. Debated about going to 64GB, but since I'm still under contract I have to pay full price, and with the tax and "upgrade fee" that added an additional $70 to it.

16GB should be good for me: I don't use a lot of apps, and I listen to maybe ten albums on a regular basis, everything else I stream. As for photos I figure with iCloud I don't need to keep thousands on the phone since I can access them from the cloud.

Overall, I'm pleased with the change. I'm currently using a Galaxy S4 and is annoying me to no end. Happy to be back in Apple's arms. :)

I'm happy to report that although the Verizon website showed delivery by 10/7 when I ordered my 64GB iPhone 6 Plus Space Grey shortly before 1am this morning, the confirmation email I received shortly after 2am this morning shows a delivery date of 9/19! So if you ordered from Verizon, make sure to check the delivery date on your email confirmation.

Yup. Also interested to hear how you got the credit on the upgrade fee...

I have the same thing but i'm not sure if i should cancel and get it through apple to be on the safe side and have a for sure date instead of 2

Called customer service and asked to waive it in a nicely way. I've been with them for 7 yrs, however she couldn't revise it on my credit charge but was able to give me a credit in my monthly bill which break even.

Why iPhone 6 plus is always not available for pickup?

Wired, iPhone 6 is available for picking up on 9/19, but not iPhone 6+, anyone else has the same problem?

That's not weird. Evidently demand for the Plus version is super high. Don't know if Apple manufactured less of them than the standard 4.7" one in this initial batch or if it is just an overwhelming desirable one to have and the vast majority are ordering it affecting a healthy initial stock that maybe Apple did produce. Either way it sucks waiting.

Makes you wonder if all us Plus'ers are sticking it to Steve Jobs "see we did want bigger screens!!". LOL
