Where did you come up with these plans?
Are 1GB data plans available?
I don't see those listed anywhere.

I pay $145 for 2 iphones and an iPad sharing 4gb of data.
You fail to realize that the $40 is also for unlimited minutes and texting.
Well, they want multiple lines, not single ones. That's why you can get 10 lines on one plan now. Add a hotspot, add a home phone, add a tablet... They are making three times as much on their 4G network as they were on their 3G one, so yeah, they want you on the new plans especially with multiple lines. "Why give away $ if you don't have to," is their reasoning for not being forthcoming about the new plans.
And with the 65+ plans, I've never seen an ID check on the Internet.![]()
They don't check and they don't care. DADT. Get it?
Yes, your numbers are off or the spreadsheet on that site is off or mispresent the real share plans offered right now.
Neither carriers offer a 1GB data plan account.
Well if you don't trust Cnet...

There's also deaf and mute plans too, lets not try to go there though![]()
Ok, I found it on verizons site the 1GB data plan for an individual.
When I go to AT&T's site and I select the iphone they dont offer the 1GB plan.
Weird.
Or maybe its still early and didnt fully roll out the plans to the public?
Lol

They do check and they want proof as a copy of your licence or state ID.
And Im sure people rather not commit fraud to have a phone plan they can afford.
And offcourse if all of a sudden they get tons of 65 year year olds joining online claiming they're seniors you can bet they will verify it.
New VZ customers minimum for an iPhone right now is $59.99:
$29.99 for 200 min on 65+ plan
$30.00 for 2 GB data
The $100 minimum mentioned in this thread is ridiculous and untrue. VZ reps will try to get you on the new plans, sure. But if you have a clue what you're talking about you'll be fine.
Edit:
You can also do unlimited talk & text with 300mb data for $70 on the new plans, if that's the route you're going for...

Talk to an Authorized Agent. I promise they don't check and they don't care. It's like ordering a Happy Meal for yourself. It's not fraud.![]()
Why are you listing websites other than the carrier's site?
LoL, you need to check your definition of fraud.
That might help me in 25 years, not today.
Lol, you need to check your definition of fraud.

Synonyms
cheat - deceit - deception - swindle - humbug - fake
I'd have to agree with you geckotek![]()
Plans are plans people. Call Verizon and ask them to do it. I know for a fact they allow it. If you can't manage a 5 minute phone call, then add $10 to the plan for 450 minutes and 2GB for $69.99.

Nah, that's still $15 more than the current $45 Straight Talk unlimited talk/text/2GB data (a.k.a. "unlimited") plan .Ugh, T-Mobile's network upgrade to support 3G/4G on the iPhone can't come soon enough. Once this is done they will be the major carrier of choice with that $59.99 value unlimited talk/text/2GB data plan

Where are you finding that 450 nationwide plan? I don't see it anywhere on the Verizon page when you order. Can you post a link? Might only a location specific thing?
I'd rather have the OPTION to add texting and not be forced to charg an extra $30 for it
Besides who in their right mind would pay for text messaging instead of Google Voice or the many other free options out there?

I've been to the Verizon site three times already in the last hour. Not a chance in hell of a new customer somehow getting 450 minutes + 2gb data + 1000 txt for $80.
