Those pics just shows the back. The issue with the 5's was the chambered sides. I'm running caseless since iPhone 4. If i ran the jet black caseless for a year i wouldn't expect anything but a big scratchy mess even if i didn't drop it.
Scratch free on front and sides too
are those white spots right over the sim card not scratches? on the upper edge where the glass meets. Anyway, every black phone I've seen out of a case had issues with the chamber.Scratch free on front and sides too

First video review of the 7 / 7 plus jet black side by side.
this is the iPhone 7 in jet black. Good luck keeping it clean. It will look smudgy for its entire life. you really need a translation? Can someone translate and provide a summary of his thoughts?

Until it slips out your hand because it is so slippery.
The single most frequent question I’ve been asked since the event is whether the jet black iPhone is slippery. It’s not. Again, much like the old 3G and 3GS iPhones, the glossy rear surface has a very pleasant tackiness — certainly not sticky, but grippy. Based on my (admittedly limited) time in the hands-on area, I’d call it the least slippery iPhone Apple has ever made.

The black and Jet Black display phones at the Apple Store...handled by 100s of people today, plunked down on the tables, had one thing in common, tons of fingerprints.
Know what neither had? Scratches.
Yeah, those Jet Blacks scratch just by looking at them.
Let's see him do the same thing to any other color.Updated OP.
Wow.. I knew it would scratch a little easer... but just from wiping it off??? I can't cancel mine because it's preparing to ship... but I think I'm going to return it to the Apple Store and get matt black when it gets here.

I kind of wish I would have ordered matt.. I think I like it a bit better... I might just end up keeping it though... I don't want to wait another month... I live right by an Apple Store so maybe I'll get lucky... they are both nice though... even the silver white looks nice with the new antenna lines.Probably a particle on the cloth. But surface scuffs are unavoidable if you constantly wipe it. There's not many things with a mirror like polish that isn't easily scuffed. Even with the scuffs I think it'll look fine from arms distance unless you pocket your phone with keys, nails, or razor blades. I suppose if you are obsessed with keeping a mint phone then this will not be the color way for you.
