Hopefully due to the many bank holidays we have had here in the uk people should start to here something soon, they should defiantly reply even if it's a rejection

Yeah that's what I figure too. They should be contacting us regardless of whether it worked or not.

I'm sort of counting on them letting us know either way. I did it around 3pm EST on Friday so it has been awhile.

It has only been 1 and a half working days in the UK since you submitted your request. Friday and Monday where holidays and then Saturday and Sunday where obviously the weekend.

I've sent two requests and one question. So far the question was answered but no replies on the unlocking.

Well the gevey Sim doesn't seem to work. Very tricky cutting the sim to fit it as there is a thick bit on the gevey sim so you have to cut a bit out of your normal sim. Luckily I used a test sim but I must have cut too much off as it isn't recocognised even as a normal sim now... :(

i just sent a email out this morning, and already got this response. We have submitted request for number unlocking code. the turn around time is 48hrs.

I'll give this about 10% success rate of actually happening but I "signed up" and got my emails too. Hopefully it'll work out but I doubt it.

Hey guys under phone make I put "Vodafone phone" but what did everyone put under the model?

I was going to put iPhone but I didn't know if that would raise any red flags...

I'm hoping it has to do with the wedding but I still haven't received a response. I checked the time on the "we've received your request email" and it was 10:55am on Friday :(

Ok, so it's been 6 working days (I guess 5 since the UK was shut down for the wedding) and I still haven't heard anything? Me thinks that if they review your info and realize you're on the scam they might not reply :(

Anyone that did it awhile ago get a response?

Edit: Just realized Superman said that both Friday and Monday were bank holidays. So I have not officially given up hope, yet :)

I sent in my request on the 21st. Finally heard back yesterday "Not a Vodafone Device".

Should I be legit and tell them iPhone 4? Am I just a step away from getting a factory unlock?!?

Well if you don't, they wont know to send the request to Apple...

Why wouldn't you tell them? It doesn't make any sense...

I mean it makes sense for me to do this. But it is odd because I put "iPhone" for the model. Just didn't want to blow it at this step since it seems no one in this thread has received an email like this.

I am going to reply now :fingers crossed:

Edit: Got another one of these after sending my response:

Thank you for your mail regarding your Network Unlocking Code. We will endeavour to respond to you within our 48hr Service Level.
Escalations regarding previous queries will always be given a higher priority and resolved at the earliest opportunity.

Kind Regards

They are probably required by Apple to provide the model so it makes sense. Every one else probably states iPhone 4.

Yeah, that makes sense. I figured that being as vague as possible in my original request was the way to go :)

I was rejected twice in the past... but good luck! =]

I'm really not expecting it to work, but maybe the random numbers I put for my "UK" number were real and it'll somehow slip through!

Would be nice because I could get enough for it to buy the white iPhone 4 I really want :)
