Who cares about what was in the past? Now that it's not, people need to get over it and deal with it.And which of those have been available on broadcast TV for 50 plus years?
Hey I did that too...good timesMe too. It all started with me reading every single Peanuts book in the library
You don’t need any particular device, a regular old web browser will do.Everyone has access to CBS. Whether OTA or cable. Free if it's over OTA. My issue is that it's a tradition to have it on TV each particular holiday and not everyone has an Apple device to watch it, contrary to popular belief on here. Yes it's a terrible show, but it's something some families may watch with their kids or grandkids.
Then watch it for free like the post you quoted states? Why are you still complaining?I don't want to subscribe to their crappy TV service.
Apparently over 100,000 people care. And what business is it of yours that they do?Who cares about what was in the past? Now that it's not, people need to get over it and deal with it.
Only 100k. What % of the population is that?Apparently over 100,000 people care. And what business is it of yours that they do?
boils down to traditions and memories of your childhood with family.Everyone has access to CBS. Whether OTA or cable. Free if it's over OTA. My issue is that it's a tradition to have it on TV each particular holiday and not everyone has an Apple device to watch it, contrary to popular belief on here. Or just a segment that relies on broadcast cable to view, which I assume they pay for so they aren't getting it for free. This seems to be a segment of fans that doesn't want to pay at all.
How're you voting this year, with your wallet?Hm.. Do signatures speak louder than dollars?
Pay by watching advertisements, that's how OTA TV works. This seems to be a segment of fans that doesn't want to pay at all.
So everyone in the US has internet access? Relate it Ajit?Apple TV+ can be used on these devices and browsers.

IDK if many are really focused on Peanuts in particular. Around Christmas time or other holidays, it's fun to leave local TV on because they play a lot of classics, Peanuts included. So it's sad that one is gone. I'll go sign it if it's quick.Just contemplating the type of person who would be a 'longtime Peanuts fan'
They're just asking for the content holder to change their decision.OK, so the petition should also enlist BIG GOVERNMENT and an army of lawyers.... to force Apple, Netflix, Disney, HBO and Amazon Prime to stop the practice of exclusive content to just one service. Let's have nanny-state Governmental intervention step in and ban these practices of exclusive content, including the European Union. Let's see how that ends....![]()
The student union in college when people would gather for SNL or any holiday special - not everyone had a tv in college or a phone. Elementary school when they rolled out the tv and you watched the Gemini launch as a class.Exactly! Had to get together at that exact time, and everyone could talk about shows at work the next day for the SAME EPISODE! Not people binging the whole show at minute one and spoiling it for people who have more to do than that
And can't get that challenge anymore of doing what you wanted in time during commercials. Couldn't pause and they were way shorter then.
Issue is Apple bought exclusive rights. We don't want to deal with that. Apple doesn't give out free things out of the goodness of their heart(s?). They want something out of it. They'll badger you to subscribe or whatever.Ok but watch it for free on Apple TV instead of broadcast? There’s no paywall. I see no issue.
Just has to be simple, like really stupidly simple. Like, I turn on my TV, and the shows are playing. Cause air TV is like that. I'm not spending Christmas telling my grandma how to operate the computer. Would love if internet TV became simple.Let’s not bash ‘peanuts’ fans (I happened to know a few), It misses the point. I also hate the fact that I need to subscribe to five different services to watch the handful of shows I like. Something should be done about this (e.g. a single service that uses micro transactions to charge you only for the content you watch) but demonising Apple and referring to Peanuts as some institutional national treasure doesn’t sound like it’s helping.
