Lmao what an idiotic thing to ask me. How the hell am I supposed to know?Well if it's SO waterproof, as both you and Apple contend ... why isn't Apple covering water damage under normal warranty i.e. without the need for AppleCare?

The design of the interior of a device that no one will see but repair technicians is a reflection of a company's values and overall philosophy. If a design is lazy and poorly thought out on the inside, the outside is just lipstick on a pig.Who cares about the INSIDE of a phone? I certainly don't go inside, and everyone else (except you, apparently) doesn't either. Just because it's "pretty" inside doesn't mean it works better or is more reliable. With regards to the BMW, it's not exactly the most reliable car. I probably see more "BMW Courtesy Cars" driving around our city than most (except for Mercedes-Benz). I always find it interesting that dealerships put their names on their Courtesy Cars, when in reality it means "Another (insert brand) owner with their car in the shop"!
If only I could tell you how many people break the charging port on their horribly designed Galaxy S5 but to repair it doesn't make sense because the charging port is connected to the soft touch buttons which are located under the LCD screen. The screen is held on only by a strong adhesive and is very easy to break in the removal process. If you end up having to replace the LCD along with the charging port it's not even financially worth it. These people end up upgrading to the S7 and then complaining how slow it is after 6 months. With all that carrier bloatware it's no wonder.
