picked up my O2 nano sim from Walsall O2 shop. Had to wait in a que since they were quiet busy.

O2 rep did ask if I was on monthly rolling contract or full contract since they have different nano sims for each! surprised...

Mine says "The nano sim for pay monthly and business" on the front.

Comes with micro and full sim adapters as well...

I'm quite surprised that a lot of people have still stuck with O2 but each to their own :)

I will see how orange 4G network performs before I jump ship (also their customer service is totally cr@p).

I'm on a O2 monthly rolling so no issue there...

I have also got the same info. Rang up my local stores who still seem to have no clue if spare nano sims will be available to pick for existing customers on Friday!

Has anyone heard anyhing different from their T mobile stores?

Thanks

I kind of hope t-mobile get their act together there, I may well consider moving my business if they go ahead with charging.

I'm currently waiting on my number being transferred from my O2 account to my new 3 nano-sim that arrived this morning.

I assume once my number has been transferred to the 3 nano-sim that the O2 micro-sim just will stop working?

yeah i think so, from what i experienced when i switched from vodafone to o2 four years ago for the iPhone 3G, a request of PAC code and its use by another carrier signifies the end of a contract with the original carrier, so it should just stop working.

First sim swap going nowhere, now on to second nano sim from 3. The guy in the shop said all requests went to a queue where they are dealt with manually, but that it should be done within 24 hours. Best part was when he said if it wasn't done in 24 hours, then it'd be 48 hours.

I appreciate his efforts, but detect more than a whiff of bs

Just got my O2 Nano Sim from the store in Highcross Leicester, they have loads and no queues to get them, only they couldn't swap my number to the new sim in store like they used to do? :S

Walked into the Eastleigh O2 store, got one fine. Rang CS and after waiting on hold for nearly 40 mins they swapped the number over pretty much immediately. My 4 is now holding onto the nano sim in it's adapter, and works fine :)

Went into the O2 store on Oxford Street this evening to be met with a surly "don't have any left, you should have come in earlier". When I asked what time they suggested (obviously I work....) the response was the fantastic "I got 100 this morning, how am I supposed to know when people will be in to get them".

Think I'll try a different store tomorrow!

Nano sim on Orange

Whoo hoo finally after a dozen calls to Apple then Orange ect I have finally spoken to a fab young lady called Sarah at orange who has just completed my nano sim request - she has confirmed I should receive it tomorrow or Thursday Top marks to Sarah at Orange :)

Any new 3 folk got their numbers ported over from their old carrier sim to their new nano-sims today?

I've been waiting since 11am today. I know they said upto 24 hours but I was kinda hoping it would be done by now.

O2 nano sim activated and fully working in IP4S.

Text option ran through seamlessly - all done in 2mins.. very fast!

Received my nano SIM from Vodafone today. No adapter supplied, ordered one from Amazon.
