The New iPad Shipment Status Thread

64GB Black WiFi

Got shipped notice this morning (6:38am PDT), showing the expected "Future delivery requested".

Tracking showed it being picked up from Ontario, CA (FedEx hub), so it had obviously already shipped from China per the rumors last week (or was it the week before).

Current status, as of 10:50am PDT says "Shipment information sent to FedEx".

Oh and: Yay!

(gonna miss the flight tracking tradition, though…)
 
my shipment status changed today and expected delivery for 2 white 32gb is March 16th. nyc.

i pre ordered asap on 7th
 
According to Fed Ex's tracker mine has been "picked up" and is currently in Pennsylvania. Less than a 2 hour drive away.... I'm tempted.
 
Ordered launch day evening 32gb white wifi w/ engraving. Got email from apple on 8th for delivery/tracking info. iPad is in Louisville, Kentucky as of sunday am:eek: according to UPS site. Arrived in alaska the 10th.:eek:

They can't though because Apple has asked them not to do this. And plus, if they did do you a favor and word got out about it, then all kind of people would bombard FedEx station wanting theirs too. Just sayin'. :)

I ordered mine (64GB Black Wifi) on announcement day on the 7th right after the store came back up at 3:50pm ET.

Mine shipped earlier today from Middletown, PA. It is coming via FedEx Standard overnight shipping to Columbus Ohio. I imagine it will get in town tomorrow but I assume it will be held and not delivered until this Friday the 16th as it says "future delivery requested".

Estimated delivery: Mar 16, 2012 by 3:00 PM

I also ordered a ipad dock at the same time. It shipped the next day (the 8th) from Shenzhen China and arrived in Columbus, OH yesterday.
 
Mine shipped earlier today via FedEx from Ontario, California. Odd thing is that this order was placed around 11pm on Wednesday. I had changed my mind from the original order I had from earlier in the day when it took forever to order to order. I realized I wanted both Wifi and 4G, not just WiFi. I thought I'd get delayed somewhat but I guess not. I'm also surprised that the new iPad I order for my brother on my account still hasn't shipped and it was ordered several hours prior to my second order. Anyways, I'm looking forward to the 16th.
 
so people shouldnt be worried if they pre-ordered right after it was announced (wed around 3pm) and their order still shows "Processing". FYI, I ordered the Verizon 32GB black IPAD3 wifi + LTE and have only received the confirmation email. No shipment email yet. Is this okay?

I would think it had plenty of time to ship and arrive at destination by Friday!

My white iPad 64g LTE AT&T:

Ordered 3/7 8:30 PM
Order confirmation after midnight sometime
Went into prepare for shipping late afternoon of Friday 3/9
Received shipping notice late this afternoon 3/11, picked up in Middletown, PA, for future delivery 3/16 before 3PM.

I am going to call local FedEx station once package is shown as arrived and ask if they can hold my package for pickup Friday morning instead of sending out for delivery that morning. I am leaving town and will be unable to wait at home for it to arrive but could pick it up in AM on 3/16 before I leave town.

That's when I ordered mine (confirmation email came at 3:20) and I'm still "processing" too - hopefully it updates tomorrow since it's a business day
 
Mine is shipped as well. 16GB wifi here.

It is in Middletown, PA.. About 10 minutes from my house. This is just torture.
 
HAHAHAA mine shipped and it's coming through my FedEx station! :cool:

I may get it a day early. If not a day early I can go get it at like 6am this Friday, and I have the day off too because I thought it might come through UPS so I wanted to be home to sign.
 
No Future Delivery

according to my local fedex and the 1880gofedex number i do not have a request for future delivery...i told them they were full of it and that when i check online it says delivery exception and future delivery requested they both seemed confident i should get it tomorrow i even told them that it was the new ipad and from apple they said no that ill get it tomorrow....bs if you ask me i just figured it was worth a call and see if i could get a newbie or something and take the future delivery off but i guess its not even on there...yeah right!!!! just and fyi i ordered around 4pm Wed. its in Nashville and has delivery exception in orange on my status page....what do you think? Possible it could come early?....I never get lucky

lol You're not getting it tomorrow. It's a Standard Overnight delivery that is on hold. Not sure why they were messing with you like that. Does your delivery date say the 16th?
