Alrighty 👍 everyone with these Apple Watches:
Apple Watch series 9–11, SE 3
Apple Watch Ultra 2 and 3.

Since this group includes the fewest compatible models, here’s a question for you.

Have you tried Siri AI yet, and how’s battery life so far? Share your thoughts.

Siri AI for the watch isn't in Beta 1. It's coming in a later beta this summer. I have it on my phone, iPad and Mac and it's pretty good so far.

The focus this year across platforms is stability and performance, not new features (with the exception of AI). That was expected and I like it. Snow Leopard moment.
Exactly, it’s sad that Series 6,7,8 will not get Those refinements and be bugged with being stuck on OS26. They could have done a lite update for those without the Siri adjustments. It’s just unfortunate for so many especially Ultra 1 users

Where is that advertised new Siri gone on my Watch 11 … ?

are you off Siri AI waitlist on your iPhone ?

I just got off of it hrs ago at 6:50 PM PDT but I don't wear any of the limited set of compatible watches, I can't test that.

exactly!!! Now  may need to do separate watchOS 26 updates for us non compatible wearers if we want the new watch faces or certain workout stuff! Even 1st gen Apple Watch Ultra wearers are outraged too.

Yes, just got the new Siri on iPhone and Mac activated.

But can't see it on my Watch 11 as Apple advertised in the attached image

I have an issue where the “Unknown Screen Sender” feature in iOS 27 doesn’t work, and I still receive notifications from unknown numbers.iphone15pm

Wifi on My watch and apple tv have stopped working after beta updates. My guess is it has something to do with the wifi 7 router. Anyone else having the same issue?

The issue is reproducible when the Wi-Fi 7 router is configured for WPA3 Compatibility Mode (WPA2/WPA3 Transition Mode). The issue disappears when the router is configured for WPA3 Only, regardless of whether the SSIDs are merged or separated.
That’s interesting. 🤔 Did you forget the network and try to connect to it again?
the 11 is on 27.0
Pretty sure Siri AI isn’t available for the watchOS betas yet. Anyone else get off the waitlist first on their iPhone?

Are you referring to call screening for iOS 27? Also this is the watchOS 27 beta thread, not iOS.

Same thing on my Ultra 2. I actually asked Siri why it wasn’t the new version and it tells me to turn on Apple Intelligence settings on my iPhone. The problem is, they removed the dedicated Apple Intelligence toggle in settings in 27, it’s just the Siri menu again.

I am pretty sure I had Apple Intelligence toggled off when I upgraded to 27, so I submitted feedback outlining all that

@LutzRFrank did you do the same too ? Also you’re in EU so it might not be available unless you switch regions

Yea so now no old Siri from pre-iOS 18. Y’all on iOS 27 on iPhone 15 Pro and later will have to either keep using the iOS 18/26 Apple Intelligence or the new Siri AI.

One of my major complaints about my Apple Watch is its sluggishness when starting a podcast on cellular data.

I noticed that faster audio playback is a feature introduced in watchOS 27. Can anyone confirm that it’s not as slow as it used to be to start listening to podcast audio now when using cellular data?

This is not an update at all. Just a new number after watchOS. Disappointing. And so much work to do on the fitness features. For exercising, Garmin it will be for the next year (at least).
