but seems not active - at least on my Watch 11 the old Siri is still up ... no traces of the Siri App on the Watch
Everyone - the new Siri AI will be added in a later beta on the watch. This was mentioned in the Keynote presentation. I don't expect to see SiriAI on watchOS until sometime in July at the earliest. They will work it out on iOS/iPadOS before rolling it out to watchOS.

One question: in Beta 2, is there currently any way to force quit an app?
I found this to force quit an app on iOS27 . . .

Step-by-Step Instructions:
  1. Open the Problematic App: Make sure the frozen or malfunctioning app is currently open and active on your watch screen.
  2. Bring Up the Power Menu: Press and hold the side button (the long button below the Digital Crown).
  3. Trigger the Force Quit: Once the power-off screen appears, release the side button. Then, press and hold down the Digital Crown.
  4. Confirm the Close: Keep holding the crown until the screen flickers, the app disappears, and you are returned to your watch face or app screen.
I haven't tried this yet on my AWU2.

Very strange. Not sure why it’s not showing up for me.

That's correct. It will likely be handled similarly to Apple Intelligence, which was released as a separate watchOS 27.1x update alongside the early iOS 18.1x betas for eligible iPhones.

Is there some kind of new Screensaver feature on watchOS 27? My Apple Watch Ultra 3 occasionally shows me a watch face that's definitely not the one I've selected. Even the time format is different. I feel like this face appears when I haven't used my watch in a while.
