Because it changes a lot depeding of the user, is it possible to calibrate it over time ?

For example, to give you good results, it would need X nights before giving you real results.

The application Sleep Cycle needs 5 nights before giving you a score on your night. Maybe you could analyze heart rate for several nights so you could discover the heart pattern of the user.

I'm also thinking of beddit (http://www.beddit.com). They use heart rate and motion with their strap. I don't know how they correlate all this but at least it's doable

Oh yes, I could calibrate over time and I may do that in a future update, however another problem is because of battery life I can only max out 1 reading every 10 min which isn't bad — but can easily skew the data in any direction. It might be possible and I will look into, I just want to make sure it is honest data, as I don't the app to mislead anyone in relation to their health.

I understand the 10 minutes problem. Maybe 1 or 2 weeks of calibrating before giving you the results should be more than enough to eliminate out of scale results.

You have a lot of job to do :) But your app would be the first to do it so you are some steps ahead !

is there a free version of this as a trial version? or is it just the paid version in the app store?

Yea I'm interested in the app and would like to try it before I spent that much. Any plans on offering us more promo codes or a trial version?

I'm eagerly awaiting the updated version which incorporates motion. While it is great to see a chart of my heartbeat for when I sleep, it doesn't show when I was asleep or awake. I believe that soon there will be more sleep tracker apps on the app store. I eagerly await one that works like the Fitbit tracker does.

I have been working non-stop for past couple of weeks, now putting the finishing touches on Sleep Pulse 2.0. I will say — its pretty cool, just being able to track your motion and watchOS 2 adds so much more to the app.... I even worked on the UI in the iPhone app — I know interface design isn't my speciality  but it will get better! I expect to submit it for review any day down, also comes with a boatload of bug fixes for though who when migrating to iOS 9 lost sync.

For now here is a peak of what is to come...

any news on what date version 2 will be released, very interested in the app, especially how long it takes to fall asleep. as i roll around quite a lot in the night.
keep up the good work.

If everything goes to plan I expect to submit it for review within the next 48hrs — now how long it stays in review — only Apple knows...

do you have any plans to incorporate some of these improvements into the power nap app, or is that dead now :(

charging my watch and wearing it at night doesn't fit into my routine but i love to use that to simply log when i go to bed and when i get up with a couple of force touches.

Would be great if there was another round of promo codes!!

I won't probably release anymore promo codes, unless I have some kind of

Power Nap is not dead, I plan to merge the two. I still see power nap as being a simple app, though I will look into it still doing all the tracking of motion and heart rates — however it will share that data with the installed Sleep Pulse app. I do this because it seems better to have the data all in one place. Power Nap will still probably need the iPhone to work though, because its unfortunate even with watchOS 2 Apple does not allow for timers to be set from the watch and background.

the most important feature to me is at the bottom (deleting data from the app) - if, for example, i think i'm going to sleep and then my daughter wakes up and... i can't yet!

love the app just trying to figure out how to read it. can't wait for 2.0

I've had this app in my wish list to keep an eye on for the last week. As soon as 2.0 is released then I'll be buying it.

I am a little over the 48hr window I gave to a commenter — however I have now submitted the update for Sleep Pulse 2 and it is waiting for review! More information to follow... for now I leave another peak....

Here is a little more information about the update and what I think is the coolest about it with watchOS 2! Once you wake without needing to grab your iPhone your Apple Watch will process through the millions of data points from your sleep and from your wrist present you with a brief report of your sleep (a full report will be available from the iPhone app). At least for me it was very cool the first time I saw the graphs pop up right on my watch — quite amazing the Apple Watch is :):apple:

Looking good, getting excited for the update!

Will the syncing be more seamless? Or will it be the same method as it currently is?
