I tried using the block they provide to smooth out my first application and have not since. Never again. A clean credit card does a better job, just make sure it doesn't have any sharp edges. (Run your finger over it)

I'm very happy with this last skin. Had I rec'd this last one as my first and only then all of this hoopla wouldn't have happened.

Either way I'm happy Wrapsol rectified the issue.

Well i've not had a good experience with wrapsol after buying the normal screen protector i was hit with £11.16 customs charge even though the total my order came to plus shipping was $26.91 under £18.I've sent them two emails and got no response :mad::mad:

Has anyone gotten a email response after emailing refund@wrapsol.com? I sent one yesterday but haven't heard anything yet.

I'd wait a few days. I sent an email two days ago but I still haven't heard from them. They are still probably getting loads of problems and complaints so I'd give them some time to handle all that. If you want to reach them immeadiately, as always, you should call.

I got my replacement today. However, they sent me an Ultra instead of an Original, and quite frankly, the pieces don't look any better than my first set.

Rec'd 2nd Ultra and applied them but now have an area on the front and on the back that is matte-like and hazy... will these self-heal

Thanks

Got my replacement Original today as a replacement for 2 previous Ultras. Installed it a few hours ago and the back and sides already look PERFECT. The front is a little shady though. The front film was stuck to the manual toward the bottom and actually pulled off some of the paper I believe. It's still got foggy spots but I'm hoping it'll clear up. Once it does I'll try to get off the little bit of mess from the manual. I have to say that if this front clears up I'll be very pleased. The matte back is pretty sick. I have oily hands and the ultra picked up everything. The classic doesn't. The thinner design seems like it will fit in the bumper better also but I won't try until it cures. I'll update with pics tomorrow.

Instead of emailing them I filled out the warranty replacement form and sent a photo. I got an email the next day saying my replacement had shipped.

Thanks. I already got a replacement and I'm not happy with the quality. It's much better than the first batch but still not what I was expecting.

I just got my replacement too, and it has patches of these "hazy" areas. I think they are due to the paper it was attached to. And since they are on the outside, with sweat/oil and natural polishing of your pockets, "should" fade away. You can speed it up a bit by taking that yellow cloth it came with and polishing lightly everyday until it goes away.

Definitely a bad packaging issue though...They should have attached it to plastic or something else on both sides.

wow...sounds like Wrapsol is in denial about these quality control issues...

this is strange..i ordered an original a few weeks back and got it and installed with no issues. eventualy the back started to peel off due to me installing it slightly off, so i asked for a replacement and they sent me a full set for free, also in perfect condition. i installed the new set, and its perfect. my experience with wrapsol so far has been exceptional.

Well you have been one of the lucky ones then.

Had this been the experience of most here I'm sure people would still be raving about them.

It's just hit or miss. I think the packaging is part of the cause of the "hair's people find in their skins. The cardboard seems to come off when shipping.

Well after paying customs :mad: lol i've finally installed my wrapsol here's some pics pleased with the back looks nice :D front however looks a little hazy hopefully it'll clear up within 24 hours ??

hi all,

does original provide drop protection? if it doesn't i'll get an ultra then.

and what's the benefit by installing ultra dry vs fluid installation? I see some peeps here doing that.

cheers

I have the same thing on the front of mine, yellow frog told me initially it was because I didn't use enough liquid. So when I installed the replacement I used 10 pumps and soaked the thing pretty good like the instructions said... it is definitely less microbubble things than the first one, but there is still a lot! It has been 2 days, and has cleared up somewhat, but is still not even close to perfect, and mine has some major orange peel.

I am not happy with this film, but I don't want to throw more money at it by paying to ship the thing back for a refund, although I still might do that, I am just going to give it another week or so to see if things clear up.

I do LOVE the back of it though, it is great! I just wish that I could order just the back and sides for less money and I would get SGP or PS for the front.

I feel the same way. It's been a week for me and I still have the micro bubbles. I haven't gotten a reply from refund@wrapsol.com yet though and it's been several days.

72 hours after original install and the front still looks like many others on here. Back and sides look great! I went to order a replacement online and now they are charging for shipping? If that's the case I may just cut my losses and go a different direction for the front.

Replaced my Ultra for an original. the sides and back are great but the front sucks. I emailed Wrapsol for a refund as I am sick of this product and they told me to ship it back then I will be refunded. Hell with that. Why should I spend more money just to then get a partial refund.
SGB here I come.

Yeah the fronts of both of mine have been horrible. First they said it was my fault so I followed the instructions perfectly with my second install, and it is just as bad. I am so mad that they want me to spend more money to send the dumb thing back. He told me it is because people are taking advantage of the refund policy. Yeah right, their product just sucks and they are not backing it up like they say they will. I have given them 3 chances, and their customer service just keeps getting worse. They really screwed up with this launch.

I definitely will not be recommending this company to anyone, I love the back of my film, but I can get that other places as well.

I decided to try out the SPG Oleophobic that a lot of people have been talking about and I can't even begin to describe how much better it is than the wrapsol...Fingerprints wipe away with ease, clarity seems better, no orange peel effect, much smoother finger flicking/scrolling, SUPER easy installation, AND they give you an extra set of films.

I don't know what wrapsol has been smoking lately but this generation of films has been horrible. Quality control is seriously lacking and people are have big problems with micro bubbles and etc. The one good thing Wrapsol has been great about is shipping people out new films right away and honestly that does go a long way but is it enough?

Glad to see I'm not the only one who is finally done. Went through 2 Ultras and 1 original. The back and sides of the original are great. The front just sucks and the ultras are just all around horrible. Refunds are now impossible because some people are "taking advantage of the refund policy". In my opinion Wrapfail has taken advantage of everyone that ordered from them by scamming them for 30 bucks and sending out this piece of crap. I've removed the front film and installed the film I purchased off EBay for 3 bucks. Much much better than the Wrapsol. I may try the SGP oleophoblic. I must say after all this that if you are thinking Wrapsol, burn 30 dollars instead. You'll be better off. Horrible company.
