Have you tried another company that makes matte finish, or you just saying this? I have tried BSE, Bodyguardz, PhantomSkinz, Wrapsol and Zagg. I would say out of all them, PhantomSkinz and Wrapsol are the best. In my opinion PhantomSkinz cuts are a tad better. They leave less area uncovered. Like I said, just my opinion.

I've tried almost all of them, yes... and I've never had a problem with my Wrapsol cut. And if there were a problem, it's a free replacement. In my opinion, Wrapsol is many times better than PhantomSkinz. Even the stuff you get in the Wrapsol package is higher quality: the microfiber towlette, glass spray bottle, and multi-use squeegee, all of which are "green" products.

The stuff you get with the phantomskinz is pretty cheap. A generic microfiber, you have to wet your hands with water, and a cardboard squeegee. :S

In my experience, Wrapsol is much better. And in all of the research I've done, Wrapsol gets better reviews than Phantomskinz.

I would still place Phantomskinz above Zagg and Bodyguardz, without a doubt... but nothing close to Wrapsol if you ask me.

Nothing wrong with you liking them though, everyone has their own opinion and are entitled to it. ;)

I believe he meant that it won't be in our hands on the 24th, which is true (they start shipping on the 24th). Most of us probably won't get them until the 25 or 26th at the earliest.

Ahh, I see. :)

anyone know what shipping method they use? I'm wondering how long it will take to arrive to CA.

Wrapsol looks great but i wish it was matte both the back and front

ALSO, anyone know if wrapsol will leave any residue if i try to remove it?

If you had a matte front, you wouldn't be able to see in? No residue because there's no glue!

My friend has a matte screen protector for his 3GS (i dont know what brand) and i enjoy the matte more because it acts like an anti glare and its smoother, as in i can slide my finger much easier and feel much nicer to me, BUT it would be nice if i had hands-on with wrapsol. Maybe it might not be as bad compared to matte. im still going to pre ordering wrapsol though

Ahhh, I see. Up to you. Make sure to get the original if you want matte. ;)

How would people compare Wrapsol to BestSkinsEver?

I've been using BSE for a long time, I even bought their Flip MinoHD and the cut is great. No fingerprints at all on my iPhone's front though I will say the back is pretty difficult to apply but it's not bad.

And from what I remember when I was initially choosing between skin protector companies, BSE is the cheapest since it does't come with squeegees and the soap bottle, etc. I have no problem making my own formula and using a card from my wallet.

Though I must say I LOVE the matte finish on the back.

Best Skins Ever is close to Ghost Armor and Phantomskinz in terms of quality. I still see Wrapsol above that. Your call though. ;) Read reviews. :)

I know I know .. ;)

As I said I like the matte finish on the back but I don't like how it doesn't protect the corners or silver bezel on the 3G/3GS. However, this won't be a problem on the iPhone 4 since it's flat on both sides.

From what I gather the Power Support "Crystal" is the best screen protector skin because of no orange peel?

And the Wrapsol back with the matte is my favorite. Looks like the top combination for me so far ..

That's what I hear. It is crystal clear. The "orange peel" effect on wrapsol is very minimal, but some people are very particular about their screen. I see the Wrapsol Original Back/Power Support Crystal Front as a very popular combo around here.

^ this + the Black Apple Bumper will be my setup.

Do you guys think the matte back will look good on the new iPhone? I honestly don't know with it being glass now. With the plastic, yeah, it looked awesome. Glass I am not sure about though. I ordered the Ultra because of this. Anyone elses thoughts.

Just ordered the original Wrapsol fullbody kit.

Hopefully I got my order in early enough that it'll be sent out on Thursday so that I can get it on Friday.

I leave for vacation on Friday night so if I could get it that morning/afternoon and apply it quickly I'll feel much better on the trip. :D

Excited for the matte back.

+1

From what I can picture in my head, the Ultra should look better on the glass. That's just my opinion though.

The dry installation procedure is also another plus for me.

Yeah, I agree there. I just think the matte finish might make it look like frosted glass or something. I don't know for sure though. I am sure people will post photos once they get them. I hope the Ultra will be good though and figure it has got to reduce fingerprints at least somewhat.

i'm not sure the fact that it's glass vs plastic changes the appearance. My guess is the flat back vs rounded back will have more impact on the appearance.

I chose the matte/orig version mostly because I don't want to have to worry about fingerprints and smudges etc.

It's naturally oleophobic. If you happen to find any fingerprints, it wipes right off and doesn't smear. Both versions do this. ;)

I'm sure it'll be good. It'll definitely beat having no screen protector when it comes to peace of mind.

Anyone know how much shipping is to Canada?

You could probably go on the website, add to cart, and then checkout. I think it asks for address first and calculates shipping before asking for payment info. Not 100% sure though.

Ahah, yeah, I was going to until I thought they wanted my CC info. Just checked again and it looks like they just need an address. Thanks. :)
