I don't know if you're American or not, but you live in America, so stop griping about it knowing about football (I refuse to call it American Football...it's football here).

What a shocker that a room full of tech geeks is less than enthused about Siri knowing more about sports. Shocker! As for the rest of the country, I think that alone will get more people using it. Bar room arguments are solved in an instant!

True, but it also demonstrates how Apple is no fully focused on consumer grade gadgetry that appeals to kids, soccer moms, football dads - everyone but people who need professional grade screens and hardware. Makes sense from a business point of view. Sucks if you want to use the machines for photography or audio recording and end up with a pretty gadget-laden laptop that is good for going to Starbucks surfing the web.

'iOS 6 has FaceTime via Cellular'

Finally iOS caught up. video talk service was available via cell service in some asian/europe markets years ago. not apple's fault though i guess.

That's an odd complaint to make today, given the new MacBook Pro.

And this is all running on the new iphone??? that would be a great way to end the conference. *fingers crossed*

I'm pumped about the little thunderbolt ethernet adapters. PLEASE SUPPORT LINK AGGREGATING!!!!!!

IF AppleTV SDK comes out today, then considering that, along wtih the incredible hardware updates,,,, damn this WWDC ruled.

No, it's not. That thing actually is the deal breaker. 1400x900 screen real estate is not a viable option. Unless they still offer an updated version of the current hi res matte 15" or 17" this machine will not work for photography or anything else that requires a lot of space. And without an option to add a second hard drive, it can't handle the necessary volume with a single SSD only. Add to that the need to carry around a bag full of expensive adapters just to cover the basics.

Looks like, yet again, I have to stick to Windows machines. Very very unfortunate given the potential that is obviously there but gets blown because the obsession with design. I don't care how flat and "beautiful" the thing is.

Yeah, I thought it'd be 3-4 thousand dollars, **** it's cheaper than what I was going to buy! :D

Any company has a target market. If they felt it was in their best interest to start that high, it would start that high.

Just when a huge backlash is starting against Facebook and the shameless way they are handling our private data to make a profit, appple is integrating it to ios...someone has their fingers on the pulse of what's happening now...
