It does have a “browser”. You can open links on it, WebKit and safari code is embedded in the Apple Watch and the patch fixes vulnerabilitiesWhy would it matter if there is a web exploit on Iwatch when it has no browser?

The phone said my watch had updated to 7.3.3 but, all I see is the white Apple logo.
I did feel at peace with the Apple universe yesterday. The white Apple logo is the new, always on, calming app. Feeling angry? Just look at that white Apple logo and you'll be calmer in no time...![]()
All joking aside, I am glad to hear you got your watch working again. Sucks to have to use the Find My functionality and send a sound to "wake it up."
Never have seen any indication that the watch has its settings reset even though the OS may be replaced. For me I always do the update at night when I am sleeping.Okay, I know this has been discussed ad naseum, but the fact I have to completely reset my Apple Watch just to update it is a bit sad. Come on, Apple.
got to tell the instagram models what beauties they are even on the go or in church.Heheh .. he’s actually triedlol. Just testing.
Yep. Verifrustrating...Mine has been "Verifying" since yesterday afternoon. It didn't update the watch during its evening charge up, as it said it would update overnight. I wear my watch overnight so it didn't update then. But at least my watch is totally functional as it hadn't started the process of transferring the update over from my iPhone.
My AW6 seemed to be a little freaked out at the end; I never saw any "progress bar" at all, and the logo didn't come up unless I hit a button or the crown. My phone was confirming the update completed before the watch ever showed any signs of life. But it finally righted itself and got on with it. Total time was still <10 minutes. Seems like the install "closeout" on this one varies widely across users. My watch appears to be stuck on the white Apple logo.
And today I am going through old posts at the Secret Diary of Steve Jobs blog, and I see a link to this Wall Street Journal article.I did feel at peace with the Apple universe yesterday.![]()
Okay, so turn off watch. Quit all apps and restart phone. After complete reboot, turn on watch. Reinitiate update.Mine has been "Verifying" since yesterday afternoon. I will give that a try. Thanks!Okay, so turn off watch. Quit all apps and restart phone. After complete reboot, turn on watch. Reinitiate update.
After that I still saw verifying, but it updated correctly after putting watch on charger.
It uses the browser to render content in Maps, HTML Email, etc.Why would it matter if there is a web exploit on Iwatch when it has no browser?
It was from an Apple support document and it seemed to work for me.It uses the browser to render content in Maps, HTML Email, etc.
This worked perfectly. Thanks for the tip. 👍🏻Okay, so turn off watch. Quit all apps and restart phone. After complete reboot, turn on watch. Reinitiate update.

From what I understand, something on the phone or watch caused the install to hang, and the only way to clear the hang 100% is force everything to restart including all apps, all connections, etc. This worked perfectly. Thanks for the tip. 👍🏻
