iPhone X Pre-Orders Sell Out as Shipping Estimates Slip to 5-6 Weeks [Updated]

Not necessarily. I was refreshing both, app and web site (UK) I managed to order through web site 2 each colours, and minutes after I had finished the app was still off line.
Not fast enough though. Delivery estimated 13-20 November.
So there is one guy I have seen here in Seattle that goes to EVERY ONE of our local stores and literally walks out with two backpacks full of new iPhones without fail.. I have seen him both at U Village, and Bellevue.
Same exact thing for me. The website came up before the app did. And since I do the preapproval process on Monday, it wouldn’t let me order through the website. Firstworldproblems
Oh man! The Apple Store didn't come online in the San Franciscan Effing Bay Area until 12:12am... AT&T created an ERROR CODE all frigging night long.. Apple store finally allowed me to place and then said it couldn't contact AT&T to verify info so gave me a reservation number.. I have that from a screenshot. They said they'd send an email, haven't gotten one yet an hour later.. AT&T finally gave me a phone with a Nov3rd ship date, but I'm suspect! Don't know that will happen.. Damn, what a frigging joke!
My 4s officially was laid to rest the other day. My app froze and the phone tried to restart but now stays on the Apple logo forever and doesn’t go beyond that. I got on and got the 256 silver with November 3rd shipping. I have entered 2017!!!
The same thing happened to me, I got through Verizon first but I didn’t trust them so I tried on Apple too and it went through both time. Guess we’ll see what happens.
Yes, att premier business is still showing launch day. We have got 3 for our company so far all showing launch day delivery

I just ordered silver 64 from att and says 11/3 at 1:30. I got 2-3 weeks from apple over an hour ago... I’m just going to keep both orders and see what happens.
Yes I did the Apple upgrade via app and was able to select a 256 gray for pickup on Nov 3. I picked my time and completed order. Haven’t received a confirmation email yet and it doesn’t show up on my order history.
When I go to start the process again, it says my upgrade is pending. I ordered a few minutes after midnight.
Same here. It means that if you service provider okays it then you can pay for it and still recieve it on week that they provided you...i think.

The only way I've done this is to return it at the store and then immediately buy it back. I did this with a pair of AirPods. The employee was a little worried that once it entered into the system, it could technically be purchased by someone else due to being in stock, but it worked out.
