HomePod Who else finally gave up with their HomePod?

My first gen HomePod, which has worked flawlessly since I’ve had it, suddenly lost all bass a few days ago mid playing music.

I’ve powered it off, reset etc but it seems cooked. Whilst it’s old now it never had a huge amount of use.

Google seems to suggest the woofer has gone pop and the repair process looks horrendous. Is it viable to get these repaired in the UK?

That’ll teach me for playing Christmas songs too loud.

Yeah, I like TSO’s Sarajevo as well but it has to be LOUD.

The latest update minimized the issue but never resolved it. I will never buy another one when the ones I have finally give up the ghost.

Just to update that I got my HomePod repaired though a UK based repair company (Howard Conrad). Cost was £118 fixed price including shipping to and from. Can't fault the service at all, great coms and they went above and beyond to sort it for me.
