Re: The pinched screen effect on the 6s Plus. I confirmed it on six display models at the Apple Store in all colors. Seems to be that it's a design flaw for now. Shame. Some are worse than others, though.

what are you referring to?

^ gotcha, thanks

mine has that too, a little bit. makes me feel better :) i wonder what causes it, a component or the manufacturing process.

also this i just discovered, kinda saw but really fixated upon tonight just while looking and admiring my screen. i hope it goes away but:

I still think I'm gonna bite the bullet on this one and not play the return/exchange game.

I've got a spot of something under my screen and a black spot on my antenna band that won't wipe off.

64GB Rose Gold 6S+
I've noticed a factory defect on my 6S that is hard to fully describe. There is some sort of chemical all over the device that triggers an emotional response of pure love whenever I use it.

There's a visible brick on my screen so I had arranged to get an express replacement. Not sure said replacement will come in the full retail packaging. I will find out tomorrow.

Please let us know if the replacement is brand new or not. Also, what day did you initiate the replacement? I chatted online with Apple Saturday and I haven't received my tracking number yet.

My first 6S Plus, half the screen went dark. As if a backlight went out.

On my second one, and the lock button seems pushed in and doesn't click like it should. It works every time, but its still bothering me. It's a $1,000 phone, everything should work perfectly.

my 6plus was like this too.

still works perfect a year later. my 6s plus has a crisp power button

luck of the draw, i wouldn't dare swap for this reason alone. throw it in a case and mash away.

So i bought a 6s Plus. whenever i try using Facebook Messenger on speaker phone it gives a rattling sounds. i tried the Phone app and it was working fine. Tried playing music as well and it seemed fine. Anyone else facing this problem?

Update: i just tried skype and it generated the same problem.Anyone else facing this issue?

I had a factory defect. there was dead pixels and a small dent that chipped the screen on top. I walked into Apple Store and they did a retail exchange on the spot for me. no questions asked AND i got the applecare supervisor to give me a $75 credit to use online for the hassle. woot woot.

i think i need to pay a visit to apple store as well!

i had a hardware failure. kept blue screen + rebooting. several times a day. got it swapped at an apple store no questions asked. new one is flawless thus far but my 3D touch is being weird. it works well inside apps but homescreen 3D touch shortcuts don't work on most apps. it just shakes abruptly instead.

The demo unit I was using here in China did that too. Is that not normal?

Yep, called Express Replacement Shipment. They put a hold on your card for the price of the phone, send you a new one, then you send back yours after the new one arrives!
So I called Apple and they wanted to charge me £29 for UPS to send an Express Replacement Shipment. This was after I demanded it too, as the Apple droid wanted me to send the device in for testing first. No chance. I told him this was not to go down as a warranty call, 14 days, blah blah. In the end I had to terminate the call as I was late for an appointment, and didn't have any more time for his Apple sucky sucky BS. "Oh no, I couldn't possibly imagine a day without my iphone sir". - Seriously? Are all Apple droids on happy pills?

Think I'll just wait for my second purchase to arrive next week. I don't think my patience can go another round with them just now.

LOL, they say the exact same thing to me. This is usually in chat. I always reply "Please talk like a human, not a robot" and they always laugh and say sorry.

Yellow screen on my end, went into the local store and compared against other models and mine's definitely a lemon. Replacement being sorted as we speak.

Everything else was great though! it was a yellow screen, but it was consistently yellow across the display ;)
