You're probably better off getting the S7, unless you just got the S5.

That won’t fix the regression with Siri. Plus, I cannot justify an S7 with how fast the S5 works. Maybe an S9 if there is a major processor & battery life enhancement with a larger face.

I played with my dad's S2 and my mom's S4. The S4 was noticeably much faster. But still, I think both those are slower than the S7.

Well works fine for me, again. I can for instance start my robot vacuum with a Siri command without the need for tap confirmation, which was not possible before the update.

My AW Series 5 battery seems to have stabilised back to normal. It was at 79% for 19:00 to 06:00 overnight which is back to normal. Looks like the update caused the watch to do a battery re-calibration. Battery health after 3 years of daily use is 89% so not too bad at all. It has been a great watch.

WatchOS 8.7 auto installed on my Series 3 last night… and woke up this morning to a bricked watch :-/

Black screen and just a thin white bar at the bottom. Reset/and factory reset makes no change. Was absolutely fine when I put it on charge last night.
