Did the update this morning.
Back from a 10k run and still no GPS map showing.
It does show statistics and even the splits look plausible.
Is this done with GPS? So data is actually in existence? But the bug is drawing the map?

No matter. Looks like a bad update to me. Apple needs to do some homework!
The GPS Health data issues are IOS 14 related. Not the watchOS. Typically required a ICLOUD phone backup and reset to fix.

Anyone else having issues installing this? I keep getting an error that it cannot verify after downloading because there is no internet connection but I have internet connection. I’ve restarted my watch and phone and I still get the error.

I'm tired of watchOS updates on my Series 3. I can't get enough space cleared to even install them, because of files behind the scenes I can't touch, so I have to reset it, install the update, and then restore. This also requires me to set up my Wallet cards again.

This was my problem too. I fixed the problem by getting a Series 6. I couldn't deal with the S3 anymore. My personal timeline on upgrading watches is every 3rd generation.

This has been a massive improvement. After charging to 100% at 2PM, I am currently at 67%. I was getting 48 hours before (always on off - I use my Apple Watch as a fitness tracker on my right hand and wear my real watches on my left).

im having that problem also.
Any chance your phone and or watch is not on the latest iOS14 patch? I had this on my series 3 when I wasn't running the latest versions on both phone and watch. Always came up during the beta when a new phone patch was available, but a day or two lag waiting for the new WatchOS update. When one did not match the latest available, multiple kernel panic reboots.

I wish there was a way to turn off the alarm brightness setting. In iOS 13 and watchOS 6, I had an alarm (via bedtime) and the Apple Watch never turned on when it was close to alarm time. Now I have the alarm set through the sleep app and the Apple Watch is so bright it lights up the entire room. It can only turn off when I turn off the alarm instead of snooze.
Yea or at least have some fade in like ten minutes before the alarm goes off start brightening gradually until maybe one minute before will be full brightness

Didn't experience battery drains with 7 so far but it seems like battery life has improved after about a day of usage since updating to 7.0.2

Definitely made a noticeable difference on my 5. In 9 hours before the update it would be down to 45%. After the update it is more than 70%. I'm happy.

How goes for everybody? After almost 3 hours of standby and 15 minutes of usage, I've only dropped to 98%. Yesterday, after similar use, I was down to 78%.

lol my fully charged series 4 completely drained during the update, it needed to recharge to finish. all set now, hopefully it works my battery life was like barely a day on the 4

Watch App on iPhone appears broken....
Although on my watch it has apps installed, according to the watch App on my iPhone they are not installed?
Also, if I uninstall an app then try to reinstall again it fails..... The watch App on the iPhone simply will not install anything.
The only way to install apps on the watch is by using the App Store App on the watch.

Yes, this was my problem. I’ve only added one complication- Diabox - which was the whole reason for getting a watch in the first place. I had big problems doing the 7 update due to lack of room and had to reset. Then had a hell of a job getting Diabox back on! What the hell do I need a stocks app etc on my watch for!? Jeesh!
